The frequent choice of stainless steel surfaces stems from the fact that it offers an attractive appearance combined with excellent durability.
This ensures a long and trouble free service life as there is no need for painting, protective coatings or replacement of corroded parts, as is so often necessary with other materials.
However, all grades of stainless steel will stain and discolour due to surface deposits and can never be accepted as maintenance free and will benefit significantly from a Metalcare valet which incorporates a thorough clean and degrease of the stainless steel, hand linishing or machine linishing as necessary to remove scratches and blemishes then being treated with a proprietary stainless steel finisher.
This type of service is excluded by the lift companies within their maintenance agreements and if far beyond the scope of cleaning companies.
Our valet works are carried out by highly qualified engineers using specialist materials and tools.

To fulfil this need, Metalcare Engineering Ltd were formed as a new company in 1994 to provide specialist maintenance and valet services for lift cars interiors, landing doors, architraves and assiociated architecturial finishes - a service that has not been offered by anybody previously.
All Metalcare operatives are issued with full PPE and Method Statements/Risk Assesments are issued on all projects.
Our team frequently attend seminars and talks in respect of Health & Safety and are highly experienced with working on and isolating lifts.
COSHH Safety Data Sheets are issued and conformed with for all materials used on site and our operatives are informed of the latest Health & Safety requirements.
